Desa Dairy Farm

Desa Dairy Farm
(Desa Cattle (S) Sdn Bhd)
Mesilau Highland, Kundasang, Ranau
Sabah
-30 minutes from Mount Kinabalu Park

If you visit Kundasang, Sabah, do not skip this beautiful and amazing place, Desa Dairy Farm. Please take note that some website inclusive Sabah Tourism Board called it as Kundasang Dairy Farm. To search more about this place, Google by Desa Dairy Farm/Kundasang Dairy Farm because it's hardly to hit this place if you Google by Kundasang, Mesilau or Ranau.

Desa Dairy Farm is a cow farm owned by the state government of Sabah. This place was so beautiful and charming. It's like at another country (I wanted to say 'It's like you are at New Zealand' but I've never been to New Zealand to make an assumption.. hehe). There, you can have lots of beautiful photo shoot (A good place for people who love to pose). Apart from that, you can visit inside the farm to see the cows closer and they too sell fresh milks from their production.

I've been there on 2008 and 2010. We visit this place twice because we miss the cows and the milking session. I insisted to go to this place just to meet the cow (what a lame reason!) and all of my friends have to comply. Nevertheless, we have fun from both trips.

Ps: My friend drink a whole bottle of goat milk by himself. At the end, he got a stomach ached and diarrhea. This is what happened for somebody who does not applying concept of 'sharing is caring'. Kekekekeke :D

Operating time:
8.00 am - 12.00 noon
1.00 pm - 5.00 pm

Milking Session:
3.00 pm - 5.00 pm
-You may not want to miss this session. What's the purpose of visiting the farm if not for their main operation? :D

Entrance Fee:
Adult: RM3.00
Children (6 - 12 years old) : RM2.00

Ok, enjoy the pictures below as it will show you the spectacular view of this place.

2008
-At the time we arrived, the cows already escorted to their shelter and it was just after a rain. The place was wet, cold and a bit cloudy.
